Ladies Love Outlaws

B[D]essie was a lovely child from W[G]est Tennessee
L[A]eroy was an outlaw[D] hard and mean
One day she saw him starring & it ch[G]illed her to the bone
She kn[A]ew she had to see that look on a ch[D]ild of her own

        'C[D]ause ladies l[G]ove outlaws
        Like b[A]abies love str[D]ay dogs
Ladies touch babies like a b[G]anker touches gold
O[A]utlaws touch ladies somewhere deep down in their s[D]oul

L[D]inda was a lady,b[G]londe and built to last
B[A]enny was a no good guitar picker[D],running from his past
She heard all his songs telling n[G]othing but bad news
But she m[A]ade her mind up to try to get him[D] win or lose

Chorus.

J[D]essie like cadillacs & di[G]amonds on her hands
        W[A]aymore had a reputation as a l[D]ady's man
Late one night her light of love[G] finally gave a sign
J[A]essie parked her cadillac and[D] took her place in line
