Clinging To The Cross

[Em] [G] [C] [D]
       [Em] [G] [C]

[Em]My soul is weak[G]
My heart is numb[C]
I cannot[D] see
[Em]But still my hop[G]e is found in Yo[C]u [D]
[Em]I'll hold on tig[G]htly
You will ne[C]ver let me go[D]
[Em]For Jesus, Y[G]ou will never f[D]ail
[C]Jesus, Y[G]ou will never fa[D]il

[G]Simply to the cross i cling
[D]Letting go of all earthly thi[Em]ngs
[C]Clinging to the cro[D]ss
[G]Mercy’s found a way for me
[D]Hope is here as i am free
[Em]Jesus, You are all i need
[C]Clinging to the [D]cross

(same as Verse 1)
Even darkness is as light to You, my Lord
So light the way and lead me home
To that place where every tear is wiped away
For Jesus, You will never fail
Jesus, You will never fail

Simply to the cross i cling
Letting go of all earthly things
Clinging to the cross
Mercy found a way for me
Hope is here as i am free
Jesus, You are all i need
Clinging to the cross

What a S[Em]aviour, what a s[C]tory
You were cr[Em]ucified but [G]now You are a[D]live
So ama[Em]zing, such a mys[C]tery, yeah
You were cr[Em]ucified but n[G]ow You are a[D]live

Simply to the cross i cling
Letting go of all earthly things
Clinging to the cross
Mercy found a way for me
Hope is here as i am free
Jesus, You are all i need
Clinging to the cross
