[D]a whole cup full of [Em]nothing for him to [D]induldge     [G]
[D]since the voice of [Em]ambition has long since been [D]shut up   [G]

[D]a singer, [Em]a writer, h[D]e's not dreaming [Em]now of going nowhere
[D]he gave [Em]heed to nothin[D]g, and all that he [Em]was....

is just a tragedy

[D]so he voyages in [Em]circles succeeds getting [D]nowhere       [G]
[D]and submits to the [Em]substance that first got him [D]there     [G]

[D]than in violent, [Em]frustration he[D] cries out to [Em]God or just no one
[D]is there a point [Em]to this madness [D]and all that he w[Em]as....
