Something Better Beginning

[D] [Dsus2] [D] [Dsus2]

T[D]hey said this was our last dance

T[D]he lights went dim as I l[C]ooked round the f[G]loor

T[Em]hen I saw y[A]ou standing there
T[Em]hen I walked up to [A]you and I asked for this d[D]ance

T[D]he band had started to play

I[D7] held you hand and I s[G]ighed

I[G]s this the start of [D]another heart breaker

O[A]r something better be[G]ginning

S[G]omething better b[D]eginning

S[A]omething better begi[D]nn[Dsus2]ing [D] [Dsus2]

I[Bb] never thought I'd love like this un[D]til I met you

I[Bb] found something I thought I'd n[D]ever had

T[F]he only time I feel all right is w[C]hen I'm with you

I[Bb] wonder how long it will l[A]ast

I walked you home in the night
The moon shone bright as we walked hand in hand
I've known this joy once before
But it came to an end just as it had began

Each step that I took with you
Brought one thing closer to my mind
Is this the start of another heart breaker
Or something better beginning
Something better beginning
Something better beginning
