I Have Been Blessed

[D]He works around us in all that He does,[Bm]
all of His [G]mercy and all of His [A]love.
[D]If the pen of a writer could write every[Bm]day
Even this worl[G]d it could ever contain how much [A]I’ve been blessed. [D] [Dsus] [D]

[D]Warmth in winter, flowers in spr[Bm]ing
The laughter[G] in summer and the changing [A]of leaves.
[D]The food on the table, a good place[Bm] to sleep
And the clothe[G]s on my back and shoe[A]s on my feet
How, I have been blessed! [D] [Dsus] [D]

[D]I have been [G]blessed
God is so good to me [A]
And precious [A]are His thought[D]s of you and me [A] [Bm]
No way I could count them the[G]re’s not enough time [A]
So I’ll just [D]thank Him for being so ki[A]nd [Bm]
God has been good, so-oh good [G] [A]
I have been b[D]le[Dsus]ssed![D]

[D]Arms that can raise, a voice that can [Bm]talk
Hands that can [G]touch and legs that can [A]walk
[D]Ears that can listen and eyes that can [Bm]see
Oh just got to [G]praise Him as long as I [A]breathe cuz, I have been [D]bles[Dsus]sed! [D]

[D]Fathers and mothers they nurtu[Bm]red and raised
Brothers an[G]d sisters and mem[A]ories made
[D]Our pastor to lead us, the altar to[Bm] pray
Striped that can [G]heal and blood that can [A]save
Oh I have been [D]bles[Dsus]sed! [D]

Repeat Chorus

[D]Now He’s the shoulder to lean on when I a[Bm]m in doubt
Rock where He lead[G]s me when I am overwhelm[A]ed
[D]That place where He hides me under His[Bm] wings
Its not just a [G]song it’s the reason I [A]sing
Oh, I have been [D]bless[Dsus]ed! [D]
