A New Day

[Em] before the light had found the dark[C]
[C] before tonight had fell apar[Em]t
[Em] frozen up i realized [D]somethings gotta' [C]change
[Em] it took a crash to understand[C]
[C] time kept slipping through my hand[Em]s
[Em] i never used to know the sun will shine[D]
now turn to [C]rain

[C] say goodbye say good[Em]bye to the w[D]ay i was before[C]
say hello say hel[Em]lo to a new way[D]
[C] i was lost but i fo[Em]und what [D]i was looking [C]for
wakin' up wakin[Em]' up to a new [D]day [C]
[D] into a new day [Em]

(pretty much the same as 1st verse)
i was sleeping in a twisted dream
dying just to make believe
a pretty situation was far from where i was
but im not up for giving up
lying down and out of luck.
but my mistakes are now in the open
and now im finally coming clean

(same as the Chorus)=)
say goodbye say goodbye to the way i was before
say hello say hello to a new way
i was lost but i found what i was looking for
wakin' up wakin' up to a new day

cause' [D]everything [Em]everything [D]ends at the [C]start
(ends at the start)
[D]healing and [Em]feeling [Am]all of my [C]scars
(yeah)

same =)
say goodbye say goodbye to the way i was before
say hello say hello to a new way
i was lost but i found what i was looking for
wakin' up wakin' up to a new day
to a new day, to a new day
i was lost but i found what i was looking for
wakin' up wakin' up to a new day
