Merry Go Round

[G]I'm on the merry go round of life
I wanna [G]get off but I don't know [D]how
I can [D]try to jump off [C]right away, but
There's no guarantee I'd [G]make it
[G]Sitting on the same old horse
[G]Thought it was the prettiest [D]yesterday
And [D]now, I'm here going [C]up and down
[C]Never setting foot on [D]real ground [D]

I'm going [Gm]round, up and [Fm]down
Round and [C]round, up and [D]over I [Gm]go [Fm] [C] [D]
I'm going [Gm]round, up and [Fm]down
Round and [C]round, up and [D]over I [Gm]go [Fm] [C] [D]
[C]What do you do when you're stuck in a cycle
[Gm]Over and over you go (you go)
[C]"Never let go" they say, but I'm dizzy
[D]Tired of the same old stuff

[G]I'm on the merry go round of life
I wanna [G]get off to fields wide [D]open
To [D]run and play on the [C]waves of green
[C]Living beyond [D]these machines, ins[D]tead...

(CHORUS)

[C]What does it mean, what does if feel like to be [Gm]free?
[C]Holding Your hand, living beyond what's in front of [D]me
[D]And what I see; no more...

(CHORUS)
