Soul Sister

[G]Had a frie[D]nd once upon a time who had a hunger to l[Em]earn[C] [G]
Good & bad wa[D]s all she had and all she was concerned [Em] [C] [F]
[G]She found out they were[D] one & the same [Em]
The truth dont ne[C]ed to have a name [G] [D]

[Em]She loved to share with the Moon soon she shar[G]ed with me
[F]The adventure this life could be
If we just let ourselve[A]s be free

[G]She gave me peace of mi[D]nd
[Em]Like a butterfly song to a rainbow shrine[C]
And today... toda[F]y feels good

[G](S[D]oul Sister) tod[Em]ay [C]feels good (Soul Siste[G]r)[D] [Em] [C]

[G]We never answere[D]d too much we asked all the time [Em] [C]
[G]Why it was always[D] looking and what there was [Em]to f[C]ind [F]

Yes we did,
[G] [D] [Em] [C]
We t[G]hre[D]w it all into the wind laughter sharing me and my best friend

[Em]Her voice was fine & it eased my soul[G]
[F]Her face was young but her eyes were old
[A]And magic would unfold

[G]She gave me peace of mi[D]nd
[Em]Like a butterfly song to a rai[C]nbow shrine
And today... yeah[F]... today feels good

[G](S[D]oul Sister) tod[Em]ay.[C].. today feels good (Soul Sister) [G] [D] [Em] [C]

[G]We worship the Goddess of the Earth... [D] [Em]
[G7]Daughter of life.... Mother of[A] birth

[G]Come on, we belong... w[D]here the mystic is strong... [Em]
Humming a butterfly son[C]g
And today... today[F] feels good.
