So here we are, just running through the same confusion.
We always the reach the same conclusion, in the end.
To be a friend, is it too late for that my love,
You lift your head up off that pillow, and i'm not there I say
you cant run from the setting sun you just
walk, along side in life, my love
cuz if we run from the setting sun
it gets dark, too dark for us to see.
thats why you're hear with me
So turn your head, and keep insisting that you wont go
into the world outside your window, dont be scared,
twenty three and feeling older by the day,
run away is just a cliche, never worked for me I say.
you cant run from the setting sun you just
walk, along side in life, my love
and you dont know where tomorrow
cuz if we run from the setting sun
then the tears fall faster than the years.
thats why youre still so near
keep your home,
take it slow,
cuz you dont know where tomorrow
you cant run from the setting sun you just
walk, along side in life, my love
and you dont know where tomorrow
cuz if we run from the setting sun
it gets dark, too dark for us to see.
ooohhh
you can see
ooohhh
you can see
ooohhhh
you can see
ooohhh
