There is a face, of sacredness
A holy room, of righteousness
Where heavens light, shines down on me
Lord, draw me near, the mercy seat
Where every guilt, where every stain
Through holy blood, it washed away
Forgiveness runs like waters deep
Flowing from the mercy seat
Let every host of heaven sing
Let every soul, by grace redeemed
Come worship now there at your feet
And bow before the mercy seat
So bring your hurt bring your scars
Hers waiting there to heal your broken heart
And in his arms you will find peace
Forgiveness at the mercy seat
Let every host of heaven sing
There is a place, of sacredness
A holy room, of righteousness
Where heavens light, shines down on me
Lord, draw me near, the mercy seat
