The Park

[G]We were hanging in the parks at night,
making comments on the people passing[D] by,
And the colour of the s[Em]ky,
a[G]n image t[C]hat is st[D]uck in my min[G]d.

I'm not sure the morning ever arrives,
'cause another morning brings another light
and colour of the sky,
you and me are stuck in time.

[C]Please don't bring it up,[G]
[Em]please don't bring it up t[D]onight.
[C]I don't care if it is [G]for real or in my mind[D].

Far away the shimmering lights
reminding us of distant times.
In the corner of our minds,
please don't bring it up tonight.

Please don't bring it up,
please don't bring it up tonight.
I don't care if it is for real,
no not tonight.
