Misunderstood

[E] [B] [A] [B] [E] [B] [A] [B]

[E] Tryin' to be mis[B]unders[A]tood [B]
[E] But it doesn't do me [B]any go[A]od[B]
[C#m] Love the way they[B] smile at [A]me
Held that face for [Abm]eterni[F#m]ty
Now let them all[E] fly[B] off

[F#m] When it comes [Abm]down
[A] It all comes down
[E] You will not be [B]found
[F#m] When its over
[A] It's all over
[E] Even if I make a [B]sound

[E] I'll be misu[B]nders[A]tood
[E] By the beauti[B]ful and go[A]od in...This city[B]
[E] None of it[B] was pla-[A]anned [B]
[F#m] Take me [A]by the [B]hand
Just don't try and under[E]stand

Try to be misunderstood
Just a product of my childhood
And still I find myself outside
You can't say I haven't tried
Perhaps I tried too hard

No excuses
I won't apoligise
Or justify your lies
Come find me
Tell them to me
Look me in the eyes

I'll be misunderstood
By the beautiful and good in...This city
None of this was planned
Take me by the hand
Just dont try and understand

[E] Can't forgive[B] sorry to [A]say[B]
[E] You don't know you're guilty[B] any[A]way[B]
[E] Isn't it funny how we don't[A] speak
The language of[B] [E]love
