Mercy Seat

The verse is Em and Bm but I think the song is the Em bar chord on fret 7 5th string and
fret 7 barred accross from the 5th string like this:
--7---7--|
--8---7--|
--9---7--|
--9---7--|
--7---7--|
---------|

This doesn't apply to the verse which I use all bar chords for. The guitar chords in the
Nick Cave recording are just strung once and let ring with a whole bunch echoe and
droney stuff.

[Em] I began [Bm]to warm and chill
   [Em]To objects [Bm]and their fields
   [Em]A ragged cup, a [Bm]twisted mop
[Em]The face of Jesus [Bm]in my soup
   [Em]Those sinister [Bm]dinner deals
   [Em]The meal trolley's [Bm]wicked wheels
[Em]A hooked bone [Bm]rising from my
[Em]food. All things [Bm]good or ungood.

[Em]And the mercy seat is waiting
[Em]And I think my head is burning
[Bm]And in a way I'm yearning to be
[D]done with all this measuring of
[Dm]truth, An eye for an eye and a tooth for a
[F]tooth, And anyway I told the
   [C]truth, And I'm not afraid to[Em] die.

etc.

Look at other chord tabs for full lyrics and song structure. Thanks.
