In the shade of the fig tree find me devoted to You
And as long as I stay there favor will find me soon
Here in this place a brand new world is seen
Oh discover me God and make me whole and clean
Whole and clean
Oh it's here in this sacred place
Where I'll discover a new found grace
Oh it's here in this sacred place
Where no one will find me
Only You can see my trace
Find me under the fig tree I'll be waiting for You
You give me the coolness of it's shade
To blind me to the heat of this world
I'll be giving myself as a gift to You Lord
Just find me in the shade of the fig tree
