with the po-lice after me.

I saw..a [G]Cadillac Motor sign sayin', trade your

run-down car.
Well, I [D]pulled up in the alley tore my clutch right
outta the floor and I was [G]half-way in the dealer's

when the cops flew by the door.

the road..I adjusted my rear view mirror then I spied that

po-lice Ford.

so I [G]whupped that wheel around and I took off down a dirt

side-road.
That [D]big machine wouldn't make the turn and the [C]cops they

grabbed a-hold of me.
And the [G]last I seen my Cadillac, it was wrapped around a tree.
