Dion The Belmonts - Donna The Prima Donna

[D]Donna, Donna, the Prima Donna,

[D]Broke my [Bm]heart,

We're [G]apart,

Thinks she's [A]smart.

1.[D]I met a girl a month ago,

I [Bm]thought that she would love me so,

But [G]in time I realized,

[A]She had a pair of roving eyes.

2. [D]I remember the nights we dated,

[Bm]Always acting sophisticated,

[G]Talking about high society,

[A]Then she tried to make a fool outta me.

[D]They call her Donna, Donna, the Prima Donna,

Broke my [Bm]heart now,

Think she's [G]smart now,

We're [A]apart now.

[G]Pretty little girl, [D]you're just havin' fun,

[G]You're running all around, [D]breaking lover's hearts.

[G]Pretty little girl, [D]I don't stand a chance,

[E]Without any money, there [A]goes my romance.

3. [D]She always wears charms, diamonds, pearls galore,

[Bm]She buys them at the 5&10 cent store,

[G]She wants to be just like Zsa Zsa Gabor,

[A]Even though she's just the [A7]girl [A7]next [A7]door.

REPEAT VERSE

       [D] [Bm]
