Once A Year

[G]Stick by me, I'll stick by y[D]ou
Don't under-estim[Em]ate me
I'll stick by you, through b[C]lack and blue
Till w[G]e fall throug[D]h

[G]Is that you sitting on the gr[D]ound?
Well I'll pick you [Em]up
If you promise to pick me[C] up to

(Pre Chor:)

[F] Well I'm [C]confused
[D]I'm c[F]onfused

(Chorus:)

I wish the f[G]og would clear, I wish the a[D]tmosphere
Would be f[Em]ree of clouds for [C]just once a year
I d[G]on't like rain on su[D]nny days
And I h[Em]ate it when it rains, on [C]my parade

[G]Oh, [D]oh [Em] [C]
Once a year
[G]Oh, [D]oh

(Verse 2)

[G]Well I don't like much being l[D]ate
It's something that I've grown to h[Em]ate
But I kinda suck at being e[C]arly

[G]When you overcome the f[D]all
Just twang a little at your s[Em]oul
And those dreaded scenes will come back to h[C]aunt you

(Pre Chor:)

[F] Well I'm [C]confused
[D]I'm c[F]onfused

(Chorus:)

I wish the f[G]og would clear, I wish the a[D]tmosphere
Would be f[Em]ree of clouds for [C]just once a year
I d[G]on't like rain on su[D]nny days
And I h[Em]ate it when it rains, on [C]my parade

[G]Oh, [D]oh [Em] [C]
Once a year
[G]Oh, [D]oh
