Travellin On For Jesus

Lord I'm [A]travellin' on for [E]Jesus [E7]night and [A]day, [E7]night and [A]day
Let me tell you, I'm travellin' now for[F#m7] Jesus night and[E] day [E7]
I want you to [A]make up on your [A7]mind
Sure a g[D]ood friend's hard to [A]find, Lord
Tellin' you every[E7]body will be your [A]friend

Tell you [A]my mama now she's dying [A7]Lord
These [D]many years [A]ago
When she lay on her [F#m7]death bed now
She [E]put now a whisper in my ear (What she [E7]say now?)
[A]Don't mind, don't [A7]mind
Don't [D]mind what the people says
Ah but [A]don't take every[E7]body to be your [A]friend

[A]If you find your [A7]brother in the fault
Don't [D]carry his name abr[A]oad
[A]Seal it down on your f[A7]orehead now
And [E]take that home to my God [E7]
[A]Don't mind, don't [A7]mind
Don't [D]mind what the people [Dm7]says
Ah but [A]don't take every[E7]body to be your f[A]riend

[A]Some people owe you [A7]money, and they
[D]See you walking this [A]road. Don't you know that when they
[A]See you walking this road
They will [E]turn off another way [E7]- and go
[A]Don't mind, don't [A7]mind
Don't [D]mind what the people [Dm7]says
Ah but [A]don't take every[E7]body to be your [A]friend

Well I'm t[A]ravellin' on now for [E]Jesus [E7]night and [A]day, [E7]night and [A]day
Let me tell you I'm [A]travellin' on now for [F#m]Jesus, night and [E7]day

He is the maker of the heavens
Who be [A]born now from the [A7add]Virgi[G]n Mary
[D]One time he been crucifi[D7]ed
But [A]I know [E]Jesus is [E7]all of these [A]things [E7] [A]
