[D] [C] [G/D] [D] [D] [G/B]

Bottom E string tuned down to D.

The acoustic riff plays throughout the verses.

[Bm]I'm breaking out of this [Bb]tired old spell,

                    [G] [G/C] [G/B] [G/C] [D]

And the phoenix flys, straight and high back to avalon.

Now I'm o[G]n my [G/C]way [G/B]back where [G/C] I bel[D]ong, gonna go down with the s[C]un

Back to avalon.[D] [C/D] [G/D] [D] [D] [G/B]

         [C] [D] [E7] [F]

Back to avalon ... nobody knows what's inside my head or

[G]down this road. Who[D]a wh[E]oa I[F] know I'm g[G]oing ho[A]me.
