Were The Couple In The Castle

[D]We're at nineteen[D] Moonbeam Terris

[Em]Overlooking Starlight [A7]Square

We're the [Em]couple in the [A7]castle way up [D]high in the [A7]air

[D]On the corner there's a [D]cloud bank

And we [Em]bank our [A7]millions there

We're the [Em]couple in the [A7]castle in the [D]air.

(bridge)

[Em]One day, a [A7]daydream came [C]sailing through the [Em]gloomy part of [A7]town.

But that [Am]daydream brought us [A7]way up here

And we'll [Em]never come [A7]down

Call us [D]Lord and Lady [D]Stardust

Call us c[Em]razy - we don't [A7]care

          [Em] [A7] [D] ([G] [D])
We're the couple in the castle in the air.

I dedicate this lesson to my father, Patrick Maund (1955-2012) who taught me how
to play guitar and specifically this song.
