Close Your Eyes

[D]Promise once it shut you out,You ask,

"What was that all about now?" Ohhh
[D]You and I, through rise and fall,

We've seen the horizon through it all now Ohhh
[D]Close your[D/Ab] eyes t[A]his time [Bm] [D]
'Cause trust i[G]s all we [A]have tonigh[Bm]t,
But trus[D]t will be forever [A]
[D]Safe your[D/Ab] dreams[A] will be
'Cause trust [G]will be the li[A]ght tonigh[Bm]t So close your eyes thi[G]s time [A] [D]

The trust will be your light tonight So close your eyes this time

The house sits stale, it lets you roam, Inside it just don't feel like home now

I promise hope will pull you out, For that's what love is all about

Close your eyes this time

'Cause trust is all we have tonight,

But trust will be forever

Safe your dreams will be

'Cause trust will be the light tonight So close your eyes this time

The trust will be your light tonight So close your eyes this time

And time[G] will turn th[A]is place around [Bm]
For a man [D7]you call Jesus was[G] still a son[Gm] like you [D7]
[G]Sons will spend t[A]heir days searching hard [Bm]
For the thing[D7]s they are made of [G] [Gm]
They are made of

So close your eyes this time
