First Impressions

[E] [E] [E] [E] [E] [Dsus4] [D]
[E] [E] [E] [E] [E] [Dsus4] [D]

Listen to the record for the timing - best to play the E in a barre on the 7th, followed
D on the fifth, down to C on the third.

(rock-n-roll star)

[E] [D] [C] [Dsus] [D]

he t[E]urns on the animal
[Dsus4]it's t[D]hat time of day
[C]here comes little Johnny
f[Dsus4]rom th[D]e back streets of the UK
[E]he's got the answer
[Dsus4]doesn'[D]t go away
[C]who's gonna treat you right
[Dsus4]who's [D]gonna change the world tonight...ton[E]ight

the [D]lasting first im[C]pression
is w[Dsus4]hat you're looking f[D]or
I said o[E]h, is t[D]hat your first imp[C]ression
and i[Dsus4]s that good eno[D]ugh for you?

(stay on E with rock riff)
(rest of the song is the same...bridge is the exact same chords)

Don't want illusion
a power glory ride
doesn't run with the neighborhood shadows
on a death trip body slide
he won't give up
and he won't give in
and he won't let up until
he gets inside your pretty skin

I said oh, the lasting first impression
is what you're looking for
I said oh, is that your first impression
and is that good enough for you?

he turns on the animal
it's that time of day
to make a little honey
in the backstreets of the UK
and he loves the noise
and he loves to play
just living here and now boys
coz tomorrow's on the way

I said oh, the lasting first impression
is what you're looking for
I said oh, is that your first impression
and is that good enough for you?
good enough for you
enough for you
and is that good enough for you?

the possibility he sees the possibility
to seize the opportunity he sees the possibility
to turn on the animal

I said oh, the lasting first impression
is what you're looking for
I said oh, is that your first impression
and is that good enough for you?
good enough for you
enough for you
and is that good enough for you?
