Tell Him

I used a variation of [A7], played like so:
E---|---|---|---|---|
B---|-x-|---|---|---|
G---|---|---|---|---|
A---|-x-|---|---|---|
D---|---|---|---|---|
E---|---|---|---|---|

[D]Let me be p[A7]atient, let me be kind [Em]
Make me u[A]nselfish without bein' [D]blind
[D]Though I may [A7]suffer, I'll envy it [Em]not
And endur[A]e what comes, 'cause he's all that I g[D]ot and tell him

Tell him I [A]need him
Tell him I [Em]love him
And it'll b[A7]e alright
And [D]tell [A]him
It'll be [Em]alright
It'll be [A7]alright

Now I may have faith, to make mountains fall
But if I lack love, then I am nothin' at all
If I can [A]give away, everything I [Em]possess
But I'm without l[A]ove then I have no h[D]appiness
I know I'm [A7]imperfect and not without [Em]sin
But now that I'm [A]older all childish things [D]end

and tell him
Tell him I need him
Tell him I love him and
It'll be alright

Tell him
It'll be alright
It'll be alright

[D]I'll never be jealous
[A]And I won't be too proud
[Em]'Cause love is not boastful
[A]Ooh and love is not loud
[A]Tell him I need him
[Em]Tell him I love him
Everything is gonna, gonna be [D]al[A]ri[Em]ght[Em]
Ooh,
Ooh,

Now I may have wisdom and knowledge on earth
But if I speak wrong, ooh, then what is it worth?
See what we now know is nothing compared
To the love that was shown when our lives were spared and tell him

Tell him I need him
Tell him I love him and
It'll be alright

Tell him
It'll be alright
It'll be alright and

Tell him
It'll be alright
It'll be alright
Ooh
