There Goes Sara

[A]She comes from a mermaid clan
[G]In a faraway loch
In a faraway land
[Bm]And when she starts to rock
[D]She takes a windmill stand
And blows them all away [A]
[A]The people come to hear her sing
[G]She loves to name most everything
[Bm]And she will mend, your broken w[D]ing
To help you fly away (there [A]she goes again)//

[Bm] x2
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
[D] x2
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
[Bm]There goes Sara
[D]There goes Sara again//

She doesn’t need to pass your test
She keeps it all close to her chest
She always gives her very best
To what she says she will
She told me once she can’t allow
Anyone to tell her how
And I loved her then
As I love her now
As I will love her still (there she goes again)//

There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara again// [F#m]
[Bm]Don’t you cross her, man
She’ll leave you bleeding at the bar [E]
[Bm]Horses can kill her
But she loves them from afar [D]
She loves them from afar [E]
Yeah, she loves them from afar [A]

She was raised by wolves she has the saddest eyes
And she will cut you down to size
She’s got a thing for Italian guys
But says she prefers me
She’s a daughter of the Maritimes
And she can solve the hardest crimes
Though, I have found a thousand times
That she’s the mystery (there she goes again)//

There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara
There goes Sara again (there she goes again)

On the A and G he has a hammer on to the fifth, just listen for its placement. He also
has a few walks that you can hear if you listen.
