The sun hits your face
Wide open space
Forest is bare
Cut everywhere
There's no one around
Just the faces and clouds
And the heart's that's breaking
-------
You're not exactly where you're supposed to be
-- ---
But tomorrow's done a lot for guarantees
--
Today's, today's, today's the greatest day
Today's the greatest day
2x
*Do whatever you want between verses, or nothing.*
Chasing the ground
All twisted around
It's not what you've lost
It's what you've found
Eyes of a child
It's getting harder to smile
You're an angel of his dreams
-----
You tell yourself you're not quite what you seem
But one more chance and you will be redeemed
Chorus 3x then end with the intro or just hold the G chord in the last chorus.
