Crazy As A Loon

Back before I was a mov[C]ie star
Straight off of the fa[G]rm
I had a picture of ano[D]ther man's wife
Tattooed on my ar[G]m
With a pack of Camel c[C]igarettes
In the sleeve of my tee s[G]hirt
I'm headin' out to Ho[D]llywood
Just to have my feelings hu[G]rt

That town will make you cra[C]zy
Just give it a little t[G]ime
You'll be walking 'round in circ[D]les
Down at Hollywood and V[G]ine
You'll be waitin' on a pho[C]ne call
At the wrong end of a br[G]oom
Yes, that town'll make you c[D]razy
Crazy as a loon [G]

So, I headed down to Na[C]shville
To become a country st[G]ar
Every night you'd find me ha[D]ngin'
At every honky-tonk and [C]bar

Pretty soon I met a w[C]oman
Pretty soon she done me w[G]rong
Pretty soon my life got sa[D]dder
Than any country[G] song

That town will make you c[C]razy
Just give it a little t[G]ime
You'll be walking 'round in c[D]ircles
Lookin' for that country [G]rhyme
You'll be waitin' on a [C]phone call
At the wrong end of a b[G]room
Yea, that town'll make you [D]crazy
Crazy as a [G]loon
Yes, that town'll make you c[D]razy
Crazy as a [G]loon

So, I gathered up my s[C]avvy
Bought myself a business su[G]it
I headed up to New[D] York City
Where a man can make some [G]loot
I got hired Monday m[C]orning

Downsized that a[G]fternoon
Overcome with grief t[D]hat evening
Now I'm crazy as a [G]loon

And I'm up here in the[C] north woods
Just staring at a[G] lake
Wondering just exactly ho[D]w much
They think a man can t[G]ake
I eat fish to pass the t[C]ime away
Under that blue Can[G]adian moon

This town'll made me [D]crazy
Crazy as a [G]loon
Oh Lord, this world has made me cr[D]azy
Just as crazy as a[G] loon
