[D] Blood r[A]ed are the t[G]ears we cr[D]y
[D] So f[A]ar from [G]Your de[D]sign
[D] Oh [A]God, hear me t[G]onight [D]

 Though the [D]waters [A]rise
They [Bm]will not pull me [G]under
 When the [D]mountain s[A]lides
 And c[Bm]rashes to the [G]sea
 I will [D]lift my [A]eyes
And [Bm]call out to You, [G]Father
 [D]Be my covering

[D] | [A] | [G] | [D] || x1

[D] War-[A]torn are the [G]rags of every n[D]ation
[D] Fear l[A]ives in the h[G]eart of every h[D]ome
[D] Loud[A]er than the gr[G]oans of cre[D]ation
[D] Oh, my G[A]od, be the v[G]oice of h[D]ope

[D] [A] [G] [G]
[D] [G] [Bm] [A]

 Though the w[D]aters r[A]ise
They [Bm]will not pull me [G]under
 When the [D]mountain s[A]lides
 And c[Bm]rashes to the [G]sea
 Though the [D]waters [A]rise
They [Bm]will not pull me [G]under
 When the [D]mountain s[A]lides
 And c[Bm]rashes to the [G]sea
 I will [D]lift my [A]eyes
And [Bm]call out to You, [G]Father
 [D]Be my covering

 And cover [G]me [D]
