[A]I look at this mountain
[E]So many heartaches wide
[E]And I can't help but wonder
Where's the [D]other [A]side
[A]I've got to be honest
[D]I've got my [A]doubts
[E]These tears are asking me
What's this [D]got to do with [A]love?
Baby, [E]I'll tell you [A]something
[D]To help us through this [E]long, [A]dark [E]night

[A]When this trouble [E]passes [A]over
[A]You and I will [D]walk [E]away
[D]Knowing that our [E]love s[A]urvived
[A]Another test of [E]faith
[A]You and I can [E]walk on [A]water
[A]The river [D]rises, [E]we rise above
[D]It may not look t[E]hat way right [A]now
[A]But trust me, baby...[E]this is[A] love.

[A]Love isn't easy
[E]I'm torn, I confess
[E]When a heart is uncertain
[D]It's bound to [A]second guess
[E]This love won't forsake u[A]s
[E]So dry your tears I pr[A]omis[E]e you

[A]When this trouble [E]passes [A]over
[A]You and I will [D]walk [E]away
[D]Knowing that our [E]love s[A]urvived
[A]Another test of [E]faith
[A]You and I can [E]walk on [A]water
[A]The river [D]rises, [E]we rise above
[D]It may not look t[E]hat way right [A]now
[A]But trust me, baby...[E]this is[A] love.

[D]I'm here for you baby
There's n[A]othing I want more
[D]Our day is coming
[A]And we'll reach that peaceful [E]shore

[A]When this trouble [E]passes [A]over
[A]You and I will [D]walk [E]away
[D]Knowing that our [E]love s[A]urvived
[A]Another test of [E]faith
[A]You and I can [E]walk on [A]water
[A]The river [D]rises, [E]we rise above
[D]It may not look t[E]hat way right [A]now
[A]But trust me, baby...[E]this is[A] love.
[D]One more [A]mountain
[D]Hey...so [A]what
[A]Trust me baby...[E]this is [A]love.
