Psalm 62 My Soul Finds Rest

{tuning: Standard (EADGBE)}
{section: Verse 1}
My [D]soul finds rest in [G]God a[D]lone,
My [D]rock and [Bm]my sal[A]vation.
A [D]fortress strong a[G]gainst my [D]foes,
And [D]I will [G]not be [A]sha[D]ken.

Though [G]lips may bless and hearts may [D]curse
And [G]lies like [Em]arrows [Asus4]pierce [A]me
I'll [D]fix my heart on [G]righteous[D]ness
I'll [D]look to [G]Him who [A]hears [D]me

{section: Chorus}
O [A]praise Him halle[G]lujah,
My De[D]light and my Re[G]ward!
Ever[A]lasting never [G]failing,
My Re[Em9]deemer [A]my [D]God.

{section: Verse 2}
Find [D]rest my soul in [G]God a[D]lone,
A[D]mid the [Bm]world's temp[A]tations.
When [D]evil seeks to [G]take a [D]hold,
I'll [D]cling to [G]my sal[A]va[D]tion.

Though [G]riches come and riches [D]go
Don't [G]set your [Bm]heart u[Asus4]pon   [A]them
The [D]fields of hope in [G]which I [D]sow
Are [D]harves[G]ted in [A]Hea[D]ven

{Chorus}

{section: Verse 3}
I'll [D]set my gaze on [G]God a[D]lone,
And [D]trust in [Bm]Him comp[A]letely.
With [D]every day pour [G]out my [D]soul,
And [D]He will [G]prove His [A]mer[D]cy.

Though [G]life is but a fleeting [D]breath.
A [G]sigh too [Bm]deep to [Asus4]mea---[A]sure.
My [D]King has crushed the [G]curse of [D]death,
And [D]I am [G]His for-[A]e-[D]ver.

{Chorus}

{section: Bridgex3}
O [G]praise Him! O [Bm]praise Him!
Halle[Asus4]lujah! Halle[G]lujah!

{Chorus x2}
