I Believe In Us This Holiday

[E] [B] [C#m] [A]

I'v[E]e been looking out my window
Watching the[B] snow fall on the ground
[C#m]The red and green from Christmas lights, [A]hanging around town
And I [E]wish [F#m]that y[A]ou could see what I'm seeing[E] too

I've been [E]counting down the days
Trying [F#]not to get excited
Haven't [C#m]heard much of the party
So I'm p[A]robably not invited
But you w[E]on't [F#m]be th[A]ere so why would I wanna g[E]o

[E]I've been g[B]ood this year
The o[A]nly thing I want is you to[C#m] be h[B]ere
[E]All my g[B]ifts can wait
I [A]don't believe in Santa Claus but [C#m]I believe in [B]us this Holiday

[E] [B] [C#m] [A]

So I [E]haven't got your letter,
I sure h[B]ope you got my card
Though th[C#m]e mailman keeps saying
"Boy you're [A]thinking way too hard"
But he [E]does[F#m]n't kn[A]ow what I'm feelin[E]g now
Without you around

[E]I've been g[B]ood this year
The o[A]nly thing I want is you to[C#m] be h[B]ere
[E]All my g[B]ifts can wait
I [A]don't believe in Santa Claus but [C#m]I believe in [B]us this Holiday

[E] [B] [C#m] [A]

I t[E]hought that I was dreaming
When[B] I saw you out my door
You[C#m] kissed me on the lips like you h[A]ave never done before
And I[E] looked up for the mistletoe and did[B]n't see a thing
[C#m]I got just what I wanted
So what m[A]ore could Santa bring

[E]I've been g[B]ood this year
The o[A]nly thing I want is you to[C#m] be h[B]ere
[E]All my g[B]ifts can wait
I [A]don't believe in Santa Claus but [C#m]I believe in [B]us this Holiday (2x)
[E] [B] [C#m] [A] this holiday [E] [B] [C#m]
[A]but I believe in us[B] thi[A]s hol[E]iday
