Half-step down guitar tabs

How to practice half-step down

Half-step-down tuning lowers every string by one semitone while preserving standard chord and scale shapes. The guitar feels slightly looser and sounds lower, so tune all six strings before playing with the recording.

• • Use the same shapes as standard tuning
• • Expect every note to sound one semitone lower
• • Recheck tuning after string bends
