[D]Yesterday I spotted you
Hanging out with someone new
[C5]Come on dude, I can't believe [G5]who
[D]Did it hurt? Oh yes it hurt
But not as much as I thought it would
[C5]Guess it's time for me to [G5]move on

I'm getting [D5]closer (closer, close)
Closer to [C5]closure (closer to closure[G5])
Everyday's [D5]closer (closer, close)
Closer to [C5]closure (closer to closure[G5])

[D5]

I [D]finally took your pictures down
And all that other stuff I found
[C5]Hidden somewhere in my [G5]closet
I [D]used to wear your shirt to bed
But now it's in the trash instead
[C5]I don't want to be [G5]reminded. No, no.

(Repeat Chorus)

I [D]saw you today taking [F5]my breath away
But then you [C5]opened your mouth without [Bb5]thinking
And [D]then I recalled why I [F5]ended it all
       C5 Bb5(hold) D(hold)---C5--Bb5
And it makes me feel good about leaving (leaving)

Mmm...
[D5]Everyday everyday everyday
Everyday everyday [C5]everyday everyday
[Bb5]I'm getting closer

(Repeat Chorus)

D--C5-G5 (x4) while singing the backmasked Aly and Aj's voice
